Getaway

Recently I have been overcome by the need to get away. after doing three weeks working in a hospital then working non-stop over christmas I am exhausted and in need of a good holiday. When mum suggested we go for a bush walk I was reluctant but I thought it would be good exercise to I grabbed my new video camera and to my surprise it was amazing, just what I needed. The views were amazing!

The season to be jolly

I thought I would do a personal post as I haven't done one in a while and mix it up with a bit of an outfit post. This christmas was perfect, the sun finally came out and everyone was happy sipping champagne and playing card games. Our traditional walk along the beach is always the perfect photo opportunity and since my mum is an avid scrapbooker she took this time to embarrass us by making us wear christmas hats on the beach. I'm wearing Paprika dress, ASOS cuff and vintage sunglasses; with my hair el natural which is very rare for me- my GHD has died!

Admittedly I have never seen a movie with Elle Fanning in it, but I love her look of pure innocence and class. Which goes hand in hand with Rodarte's latest collection shown in A MAGAZINE , a limited edition title previouslt curated by the likes of Proenza Schouler, Yoji Yamamoto and Maison Martin Margiela.  Here are some of my favourite pictures from their shots of Elle.

I am in loove with this editorial from the new Harper's Bazaar Brazil, the contrast of bright neon colours with the beautiful white buildings go so perfectly together.

Akris

The prints are amazing from the RTW SS 2012 Akris show. The collection overall was really lovely and elegant but I must admit I was not a fan of the last few looks with very sheer materials and one with a plunging neckline, but that's just me. I also loved the leather bags!
