Too Much?

Recently I have gained a new job- working in as a nurse in a nursing home- and it has given me quite a bit of extra cash. So naturally it is a huge shock and I've gone a touch over board with my shopping. I feel like a bragger or something but I'm really happy with all my buys and this is what arrived in the mail today. In my opinion black is the perfect colour to wear; It matches everything, it is slimming and it looks amazing. Recently I have fallen in love with all black outfits especially simplistic ones! Here are some of my favourite 'Street Style' all black outfits!

Spring 2012 Campaigns

With fashion week kicking off in New York in less then a month I thought I would post my favourite Spring 2012 campaigns!

Dolce & Gabbana's spring campaign is certainly my favourite, featuring images of extended families in a Sicily-esqe background posing in perfect Italian clothing.

I must admit I am very disapointed in Jil Sander's campaign this season, I'm guessing Raf Simons is feeling more confident this season and making the brand his own, but I miss the simple imagery- don't get me wrong it is still one of my favourite fashion houses and I love model Natasha Poly.

Chanel seems to have been thrown back a few decades, the photography and styling is simply perfect. 

Roberto Cavalli- old is the new

Natasha Poly once again showing off her luxurious legs in luxurious clothes. 

My favourite of all favourites is Mulberry, featuring two of my favourite models -Frida Gustavsson/ Lindsey Wixon- in one of my favourite places Brighton Pier. Not to mention the amazing clothes and unique photography!

Getaway

Recently I have been overcome by the need to get away. after doing three weeks working in a hospital then working non-stop over christmas I am exhausted and in need of a good holiday. When mum suggested we go for a bush walk I was reluctant but I thought it would be good exercise to I grabbed my new video camera and to my surprise it was amazing, just what I needed. The views were amazing!

The season to be jolly

I thought I would do a personal post as I haven't done one in a while and mix it up with a bit of an outfit post. This christmas was perfect, the sun finally came out and everyone was happy sipping champagne and playing card games. Our traditional walk along the beach is always the perfect photo opportunity and since my mum is an avid scrapbooker she took this time to embarrass us by making us wear christmas hats on the beach. I'm wearing Paprika dress, ASOS cuff and vintage sunglasses; with my hair el natural which is very rare for me- my GHD has died!
